Bedlam Point Gladesville

Fishing club members ventured to Sydney Harbour last Sunday to try some land based fishing. Bedlam Point near the Gladesville bridge was selected as it offered easy access, an inlet and a deep hole off the headland. We were hoping that the top of the tide would have the fish biting hard. A cold morning and a bright sunny day must have had all the fish sleeping in, as there was very little activity. A blue swimmer crab and a small snapper was caught on bait, whilst plastics resulted in zip.
A few boats tried fishing the channel and deep hole, but they moved on after about 15 minutes.
The hamburgers for lunch was the highlight of the day.
