New club member – Caught these two trout in a pondage near Harrietville, Victoria on Tassie Devils with braid and 8lb leader. They were the most aggressive trout he’d ever landed with massive jumps from the water.
That’s Rainbows for you

The Bass are on in the Nepean river 28 Bass in 2.5 Hours on the water in a canoe with a couple of descent 32 cm’s
Biggest Bass I have seen and obviously a personal best for Alex.
I’d like to share a pic of the Bass that Alex caught down the river late yesterday
It measured 520 mm to the fork and 540 mm to tip, weighing in at 3 kilos and he caught it on 4lb main line with 6lb trace, which is amazing considering the terrain he was in, plenty of snags and such around.
Congratulations Alex for the PB from ESFC

June Long weekend a club member and friend headed down to the river early in the morning to head upstream chasing anything that would take a look at our lures.
Darren had gone to the tackle store the day before and treated himself to new rod, reel, line and lures . This is the way to debut new gear with a very healthy brown trout and
a bass – This was Darren’s first ever trout and so a PB on the new gear.
What a great weekend on the lake blue skies and calm seas then the club BBQ afterwards see Fishing trips for more info which will be posted shortly.
